Enjoy an ancestral tea while disembarking on your journey through the history of cacao!
From the discovery of the cacao bean in Latin America to the advent of the chocolate bar. You’ll learn about cacao’s role in history while witnessing chocolate making in our state of the art kitchen and experience center.
Following your chocolate university, join us to make a chocolate bar with our chef in a small group cooking class. Starting with the cacao bean, you’ll work with quality ingredients to make truffles and a gourmet chocolate bar with your favorite fruits and/or nuts inside. At the end of the class you get to take home what you made!
You’ll learn all the stages of working with chocolate including: • Extracting the chocolate from the raw cacao bean • Tempering chocolate • Making chocolate moulds with ganache • Filling chocolate moulds with with dark and milk chocolate • Proper chocolate melting and cooling techniques • And of course, lots of eating chocolate
